Wonderful Worthing Weekend - Crafting retreat...

Well my wonderful Worthing weekend is now over for this year but we had a wonderful time.
We stayed at the fabulous Ardington Hotel - who have learnt to get to know us crafting ladies over the six plus years we have been visiting!!

I thought I would share some piccies of the weekend and also some of the classes and projects we made.

We arrived Friday and after I set up (with the help of the fabulous Keri) we had about an hour or so to craft as people arrived. Then it was off to a pre-dinner drink of a delicious glass of champagne thanks to the lovely Brigette - a great way to kick start the weekend.

Following are some pictures of the room all set up and everyone working hard on their pages/projects. Over the next few days I will share some of the classes and projects.

Oh and I am taking bookings for next year. I keep numbers low so that it provides an opportunity for everyone to get to know each other and makes it a relaxing weekend.

Decorating!

Well I feel like I am coming out of the fog of annual audits. Apologies I haven't been on blog land! Just thought I would share what I did with my little nest of tables in my lounge. I love this new Stampin Up paper and thought it would cheer up some quite dated and boring tables!

More card club cards to share

Its Monday!!! Ohhh mixed feelings, half term is over and the children have returned to school - along with GCSEs and mock exams but also its nice to be back to a normal working week. I'm actually quite spoilt as I am off to lunch with a lovely friend to Winchester - I cant wait!!! So here are the other three cards we made at card club.

The first card is using the French Foliage stamp set and the free Sprinkled Expressions Salebration set- Many thanks to the amazing Amanda for the idea!! And there is a little distressing too and it proved quite distressing to some of my customers!!! You know who you are!!!........

The next card is from my favourite Salebration stamp set - the Fresh Vintage set. I love it and think its perfect for cards and scrapbooking and its yours free with £45 order or you could host a home class and receive one for total sales of £300.

And the last card was made using the newest Big Shot die - Blossom party and some Design Series Paper and a little bit of bling!!!

Card Club .....two projects

Hello and happy Sunday!

I thought I would share two of the projects we made at card club this month - and at my home workshops too.

The first is using the fabulous cup cake punch and a little dazzle with our glitter paper. (Glitter without the mess!!)

We also used the Top note Big Shot die with the Perfect Polka dots embossing folder and finished off using the versatile Designer Label punch.

The second is the 2" 5" 7" 10" box!!!
Using the wheel and one of the free stamp sets from Salebration.

By sheer coincidence the cm template is in this months Craft Beautiful magazine - along with a great article on our Stampin' Up! convention in Disneyland and an interview with the founder of Stampin' Up! the lovely Shelli!

More projects soon.......

Birthday card

Thursday saw the birthday of one my loveliest friends (well they are all lovely but you know what I mean!!)

I made an easel card with two new In Colours - Island Indigo and Pool Party.

The main stamped image is using the single stamp Elizabeth (what a great name for a versatile and stylish stamp!!!) There is a little bit of ripping, some embossing with the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder, distressing with the distressing kit and the label is using the Four Frames stamp set and Designer Label punch. All finished off with some crochet ribbon and some pearls!!

Loveliness ...,

Aren't these just fabulous. Favourite colours and just gorgeous. From a very lovely person. Thought I would share them with you too.

I love my job!!

This weekend I had three lovely ladies join my team. It's very exciting and the perfect time to join our Stampin Up family as each of these ladies will receive an extra free stamp set of their choice from the main catalogue!
One lady, Ruth, was the hostess of her home workshop. We had a great evening making a box and a cup cake card. ( see tomorrows post!)
And she made cakes!! Dairy free cakes!! A rare treat for me and she packed some up to bring home. (sssh don't tell the children!!)
Here is a picture of the last of those cupcakes before I ate it! I just wanted to share some of the lovely perks of being a demonstrator!!
Thank you so much Ruth and welcome to our team!

Team Training

We had a wonderful day at our team training recently.

There was of course lots of time to "play" with products and be inspired by others. Time to catch up with friends and learn the latest news about Stampin' Up!

I thought I would let some photos tell the story of our day!

Scrapping!

Well I am back from a lovely weekend scrapping with friends. We had a great time relaxing, eating, shopping, chatting, drinking, staying up late and of course working on our albums!!

I thought I would share a couple of pages. They are of course double pages but I am was struggling to get a good shot of two pages!

The hotel is used to us all now (we have been going twice a year for six years!) and the food and service is fabulous!! I cant wait to go again in June. Are you going to join us? All crafters welcome.

Milk carton gift boxes

Just thought I would pop in and show you some little gift boxes I've made using of our milk carton die. Using the Spice Cake paper to wrap around the box and the Spiced Paisley stamp set.

Spice cake brooches

Ive been busy making some items for an upcoming craft fayre. Last night I used my Big Shot, the Fun Flowers die and the new Spice Cake fabric. What I love about these is,like everything with Stampin Up, it's all coordinated with paper and inks so I made little cello bags using the matching designer paper.
Tonight I made some using the Timeless portrait fabric. The photos don't do them justice as they are taken with my mobile but I think you get some idea.
I LOVE them!! Might even make some to go in the hair too!

Some crafting time.....

Just thought I would share some photos of my team gathering at the end of December. We had a lovely night making cards at our first annual shoe box swap!!
Thanks so much to those that came along and shared their fabulous cards - I will share them later.

Happy New Year!

Well here we are in 2012 and full of new years resolutions. I have loaded Blogger update on my iPhone in the hopes I can post more often and this is my first post so it's a learning curve!!
Now to try adding a photo to this post... This is something I made last night. It's made from an old frame, spray painted and then our luscious fabric and brads. I love it if I say so myself!!
